Learn n’ Play @ Montessori Academy program is designed to respond to the stages of physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth and behavior of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Why Learn n’ Play @ Montessori Academy?

Here at LPMA, we believe that the first five years of a child’s life deeply affect his or her cognitive, physical, emotional and social development for the rest of their lives. The children will receive a structured, loving environment while learning basic foundational skills to enable them for a successful childhood. We believe that the child is at the center of the learning process and that through interactions with teachers, other children, and the materials in the classroom, the child develops self-confidence, independence, perseverance, and concentration—all important for school readiness.

Do you have adequate bathroom facilities?

The arrangement of the physical space is very important for safety in child care. The best way to keep children safe is with constant visual supervision. We planed and adapted the spaces in the facility so staff can see and hear all children at all times. Infants and toddlers are cared for in separate spaces from older children. We have an adequate space for very young student’s activities: feeding, napping, active play, quiet play, diapering, and toileting. When we planned these areas, we thought about preventive measures to provide safe but stimulating learning.

We remember that exploring and learning go hand in hand.

Do you prepare students to make a quick exit?

Yes, our staff is trained to get the children out of the facility very quickly if needed. We train our students how to leave the facility in safest way.
